Why the medieval garden?
A stone’s throw from our company, the seventeenth-century oratory of San Rocco stands on the remains of the Benedictine farmhouse in Corniano, where “Formadio”, the forefather of Parmigiano Reggiano, was created in the 11th century. It was in this very place that the monks used to look after their walled garden inside the monastery.
Our family started to make Parmigiano Reggiano here in the 1920s.
Today, through our products and their brands, we want to convey this unbreakable bond that ties our family’s history with our land.
